Egbesola Efunyemi is a Brooklyn-based artist with roots in Atlanta, Georgia. Her work profoundly and beautifully intertwines spirituality and tradition through the powerful medium of dance, as a vital bridge between the ancient practices of her ancestors and the vibrant pulse of modern culture.

In her dynamic performances, Efunyemi evokes the spiritual energy of her heritage, inviting audiences to experience the rich emotional landscape of her identity, all set to the uplifting rhythms of house music. She focuses on the profound connection between Black bodies and African-based religions, particularly Ifá and Ìṣẹ̀ṣe, expressed through the expressive lens of club dance.

Throughout her journey, Efunyemi has collaborated with various organizations, including Summerstage NYC and the Guggenheim Museum, fostering a sense of community and shared understanding.
